All India Markazi Majlis -e- Ahle Sunnat Jammat, celebrated its 30th anniversary on Sunday at Jama Masjid, Afzal Gunj. Molana Syed Sujath Ali Siraj Qadri, President, All India Majlis Ahle Sunnat Jammat, while addressing the gathering said, “The committee is one of the oldest committee in Andhra Pradesh and was established in 1984, considering the betterment of Muslim community in Andhra Pradesh. We follow the path laid down by Prophet Muhammad.
I am glad to see that the committee has completed 30 years of its presence and have been serving the Muslim community with utmost spirit. I along with the community pledge to serve the fraternity with same spirit.” In the anniversary celebration, Molana Shafi Md Khan Naqshabndi (kamil jamia nizamia) spoke about true Islamic teachings and appropriate way to follow beliefs in a civilised society.Molana Hafiz Abdul Hameed Multani, a senior member concurred to the relevance of Prophet Muhammad in Islam and the methods to be adopted while following Shariah. Advocate Mirza Shanwaz Baig, the legal adviser of the committee, said “youth should know about both knowledge of the world and about Islam. Good education can in turn prove to be beneficial for the betterment of the community in the global scenario.
