Dr BR Ambedkar’s death anniversary observed

The 58th death anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar was observed by NMDC HO SC/ST employees association on December 6, NMDC Corporate Office. NK Nanda, director (technical), S Thiagarajan, director (finance), Subimal Bose, director (production), SK Das, director (commercial), Rabindra Singh, director (personnel), Sandeep Tula, general manager (personnel) and senior officials, staff and bjagadeeshwar, general secretary, T Laxman, president of the SC/ST Association and other office bearers garlanded the photograph of Dr BR Ambedkar and offered their tribute by observing two minutes silence.

B Jagadeeshwar, general secretary remembered the outstanding contribution of Dr BR Ambedkar for improvement of education in the country and also stressed that education is the weapon to eradicate poverty and improve the growth of the country. Dr BR Ambedkar’s role is of pivotal importance in framing the Indian Constitution and upliftment of downtrodden people. He also emphasised on the principles of oneness and equality.
