Metro Rail Coach Inaugurated At Numaish. NVS Reddy, MD, HMR, said that coaches are being manufactured in South Korea and L&T is using the latest technology. Initially the train would have a driver.

Dr S K Joshi, principal secretary, Urban Development, inaugurated the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) stall at the All India Industrial Exhibition on Saturday. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, he said that Hyderabad is a landmark city and the exhibition is unique and is entering into the 75th year. “I hope that Metro Rail would have a trial run later this year.”

Every fraction of the train’s movement would be traced at the control centre. VB Gadgil, chief executive and managing director, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited, said that information in multiple languages would be available on the coach and there would be an attender in each coach.
The actual size of the coach would be twice the size of the model coach on display at the exhibition.
