Bhoomi puja held

In less than a fortnight, the second bhoomi puja for drainage works was held at Bowenpally in ward No 1 of Secunderabad Cantonment Board limits. Malkajgiri MP Ch Malla Reddy along with SCB ward no 1 member J Maheshwar Reddy and members of Aakash Nagar Colony Welfare Association performed the rituals to formally inaugurate the works for underground drainage line at the colony.

The estimated cost of the work is Rs 8.2 lakhs. P Nalini, president of Aakash Nagar Colony Welfare Association says, “A lot of problems of the colony would be solved once the work is completed. We have been requesting for an underground drainage pipeline for years now and at last we can heave a sigh of relief.”
