Residents in the Jalpally municipal area have complained that the civic authorities have been neglecting the area and failed to improve the basic amenities here. Wadi e Mustafa and other adjacent areas have been reeling under various issues for long, but no action has been taken so far.

The damaged drain lines, lack of drinking water, dark by-lanes and others are the major problems in the area. Former Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy visited the place along with the local leaders and demanded that government must immediately pay heed to the complaints of people there. She alleged that government had neglected the entire Jalpally municipal area.
