Twenty seven policemen, including those belonging to ID-Party and special wings, in the district have allegedly figured in the list of bribe-takers misusing their office. The list of statewide corrupt police personnel has been prepared as they ‘crossed all limits’. Along with the list, enough evidences against them have been gathered.

They are accused of indulging in collection of mamools showing dereliction to their official duty. Among the 27 from the district, nine are from Tandur and six are from Vikarabad and the rest of them are working in the limits of police stations Karankot, Peddemul, Basheerabad, Parigi, Kulkacharla and Doma. Disciplinary action will soon be initiated against the ‘corrupt’ police personnel.
