Malkajgiri: State TRS general secretary and MLC Mynampalli Hanumanth Rao on Friday sought cooperation of private educational institutions in enrolling orphans in schools. Addressing press persons, Rao called upon private schools and colleges to provide free education to poor students enabling them to come up in life. The MLC stated that he was paying fee of orphans through the good offices of his NGO.
He appealed to private institutions to take up education of the poor with a service motto, rather than adopting commercial attitude and become partners in the uplift of orphans. Rao observed that everyone had a responsibility in ensuring that there was no scope for discontent and inequality in society and in providing equal opportunities for the poor by supporting them.
He said that the TRS government and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao were striving to provide same education to all by launching 600 residential schools, even while undertaking a review of the education system.
