Mohinabad: Grama Gyothi scheme was inaugurated four years back in Telangana but still there are no dump yards in Moinabad. Locals say wastage has increased day by day due to lack of dust bins in some villages of Moinabad.

Grama Jyothi was launched with an aim to strengthen villages in areas like water and sanitation, health and nutrition, education, social security and poverty eradication, natural resources management, agriculture and infrastructure.

The government promised a sum of Rs 2 crore to Rs 6 crore to each village depending on the population. Locals say that the administration has not received enough funds and there is no effort to set up a proper waste disposal system.

Villagers are dumping wastage near the panchayat office because there are no dumpyards in their village so they are collecting waste and throwing the wastage either side of the road its increasing day by day. Commuters and motorists are passingthrough this road are facing lot of problems due to the unbearable smell.
