10 school buses seized

Zaheerabad: Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) G Aswanth Kumar on Sunday said that 10 school buses were seized for plying on roads against rules and regulations under Zaheerabad limits. Speaking to The Hans India, he said that they were conducting raids on schools buses to check their fitness.

So far, fitness check for 90 per cent of the buses and 147 buses in Zaheerabad RTA limits has been completed, he said. According to the MVI, 70 schools from Zaheerabad, five from Jharasangam, four from Kohir, 10 schools from Nyalkal mandal were checked. The MVI also said that cases were registered against managements of schools for floating rules.
