Rains hit pipeline works at Golkonda

Golkonda: The sanitary pipeline works at Moti Darwaza are running at a sluggish pace.

It was about a month ago when the construction works were started and the whole lane was torn apart for laying underground drainage pipes.

Thereafter the work has been moving in glacial pace while the residents argue stating that “The pipeline works is bothering their day to day chores and children going to school and commuters passing the lane.”

Resident of the area Mohammed Akbar said, “Residents are whining about the clogging issue for months and GHMC started working on it a month ago. And now there is hardly any progress due to rains.”
