Atleast four out of nine speakers and scores of those who attended the meeting appreciated his pro-united AP stance saying ‘in spite of the fact that he would invite the wrath of Congress High Command, Kiran chose to be with our cause’ Murali Krishna of Seemandhra Association of Secretariat complemented the Chief Minister for being bold and said if all the MPs belonging to the region follow his line, the state would stand united. Srinivasa Rao of Electricity Employees union has also praised Kiran for placing the facts before the people on power front. ‘It is not so easy to distribute power if the state is divided’ he said.

Ashok Babu, president of APNGOs Association has also heaped praise on Kiran for being non-partisan with regard to issues of employees. Satyavani, who spoke at the fag end of the meeting, rebutted the ‘curry point remarks’ of KCR and thereby throwing her support to the Chief Minister. Ghazal Srinivas, the singer who have been playing the tunes of United AP for the last few years, has also eulogised CM for his stance.
