Hyderabad: The Met office on Saturday warned of heavy rainfall at isolated places in all districts of Rayalaseema and in East, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore in the next 48 hours. Moderate to rather heavy rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Coastal Andhra and at a few places in Telangana and Rayalaseema.
An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over west-central Bay and its neighbourhood. There will be no large change in the weather outlook during the subsequent two days. There was eight, six and five cm of rainfall in Tandur, Kaleswaram, Sirpur and Ramagundam, as rain occurred at isolated places in Coastal Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema on Friday. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) on Friday were : Eturunagaram 4, Narsapur , Tirupati Airport , Tandur , Nirmal , Chinnoor 2 each, Tirupati , Perumallapalli , Warangal 1 each.
Forecast for Hyderabad and its neighbourhood valid until the morning of September 16: Sky will be generally cloudy. One or two spells of rain or thundershowers, at times heavy in some areas, will occur. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 32 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
