Telanagna Information Technology Association (TITA) pay rich tribute to Telangana ideologue and former Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University, Dr. Kothapalli Jayashankar on Wednesday in Telangana Bhavan.

Members of Telanagna Information Technology Association (TITA) pay rich tribute to Telangana ideologue and former Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University, Dr. Kothapalli Jayashankar on Wednesday in Telangana Bhavan. TITA team garlanded the statue of Prof. Jayashankar along with his brother Kothapalli Vasudeva Rao and observed a two minute silence in his memory. TITA team also felicitated Kothapalli Vasudeva Rao who is the sibling of Prof. Jayashankar.

"Prof.Jayshankar called as Telangana siddhanthakarta stood as a pillar in spreading the Separate Telangana movement and fought relentlessly for Telangana with his honest integrity and commitment. Prof.Jayshankar was a people's professor who played a crucial role in the agitations during the telangana movement. He is Telangana jathipitha (Father of Telangana) who fought for people's empowerment in Telangana and until his death he dreamt of seperate statehood for Telangana." Said TITA Women's Wing Chair Bindu Muthangi.
"He always strongly opposed merging of Hyderabad state into Andhra Pradesh since 1948 and actively participated in the Telangana movement until his last breath. His dream was to make telangana as Golden Telangana and we have to achieve it." TITA Joint Secretary Vishwak Lakkireddy.
Among those who paid tributes included TITA Vice President Naveen Reddy Gaddam, TITA Women's Wing Chair Bindu Muthangi, TITA Corporate wing General Secretary Karunakar, TITA Joint Secretaries Vishwak Lakireddy, Antony Ravi, Hari Krishna Brahmandari and many other IT professionals.
