The Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF), which will be held from January 23 to 26, will go beyond the written word and celebrate creativity in all its forms. HLF visitors may participate in an improvised exhibition; aspiring poets can take advantage of the open mic to present their poems to the public; graffiti artists will be able to draw on a wall all through the festival. Also, interactive workshops on literature, theatre, visual arts will be open for everyone.

For children, a theatre workshop by German director Barbara Kölling ; ‘Space and sensibility’ by architect Gouri Mohini; a visual storytelling workshop by AISFM faculty Gauri Nori; ‘The City We Need’: a creativity and story writing session by story-teller Deepa Kiran and architect Snehanshu Mukherjee, etc, will be conducted.

A literary quiz for students and young adults by quiz master L Ravichander will also be conducted. For adults, seminars and workshop by best-selling author Rasana Atreya, poet Mani Rao, Prof. Khalid Saeed and Prof. Amina Kishore, German director Jan Zabeil will be held.
