Ananda Buddha Vihara at Mahendra Hills has been renamed Mahabodhi Buddha Vihara at a function organised by the Kassapa Thera, chairman of the Mahabodhi Society of Bengaluru. In the weekend, various preachings of Buddha were chanted. Many programmes are being conducted daily till March 8 propagating the preachings of Buddha to explain the purpose of human life and the role to be played by people to serve humanity.
