'Vladimir Putin released Tubla Oblast Governor Vladimir Grouzdev, and appointed instead Deputy Minister of Defense Alexei Doumine to the position of interim Governor. Since last year, there were rumours about Grouzdev possible resignation - a former buisness man whose wealth was built upon selling his shares to Russian supermarket chain Sedmoi Kontinent.

According to Gazeta Russian newspaper, quoting sources close to the Kremlin, Grouzdev did not get along with Presidential Administration Leader Viatcheslav Volodine. Besides, he was in conflict with the government: in January 2015, he thus opposed to Russian Minister of Finance, who had reduced allocations for the victims of the accident of Tchernobyl nuclear power station, in 1986.

The man also may lose its seat amongst the United Russia Party Supreme Council at the next convention held on January 5 to 6.

'New interim Governor, Alexei Dioumine, is quite unknown to the public' adds Gazeta.ru. He's always worked for the safety of Russian Presidency, and became Putin's personal Flag Lieutenant, in charge of his protection, as he held the position of Prime Minister, from 2008.

In 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin had to appoint General Viktor Zolotov head of the FSB to the position of first Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - chief of the troops of the Russian Interior Ministry . However, Moscow confirmed Zolotov's death last year.
