MLC Santhosh Reddy formally inaugurated the month long training programme at Valmiki Educational Institutions in the town on Sunday.Speaking on the occasion, the MLC called upon the students to utilise the opportunity and get good ranks in the two entrance examinations by working hard.

He lauded the initiative of Vemula Ganga Reddy, founder president of VSR Foundation, for making educational opportunities available to the Dalit girl students.A Speaking on the occasion, president of the foundation Ganga Reddy thanked the management of Valmiki Educational Institutions for coming forward to provide free accommodation to the 50 students.

"Most girl students form Dalit communities are not able to continue their studies after completing their SSC due to poverty. If the students are given opportunities they would excel in academics and reach greater heights in their lives. We have appointed qualified teachers to provide coaching in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English to the students.
