Karimnagar: Narayana Hrudayala Group of Hospitals (NHGH), the leading healthcare service provider in India, has come forward to offer health privilege cards to the exclusive benefit of working journalists spreading over the district. Nearly 1000 journalists are covered under this scheme.
At a program held at the Karimnagar Press Club, AP Journalists Union District President Nagunuri Sekhar handed over the cards to the beneficiary journalists. Detailing the benefits of the cards, the hospital authorities said that the card offers special discounts not only to the journalists but to their family members as well.
The cardholders will get 20 per cent discount to patients towards the consulting fees. Coupled with this, the card accords 15 per cent discount to patients who undergo medical tests as well as surgeries. Mr Nagunuri Sekhar asked the journalists to avail the opportunity of health care benefits offered by the Narayana Group.
