Karimnagar: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA Harish Rao reiterated that Hyderabad city only belonged to the people of Telangana region and others had no right on the city. Mr Harish Rao was addressing ‘Vidyarthi Garjana’ meeting organised by Government Aided Schools Association members at Jagityal town in the district on Wednesday.

Referring to the Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s statement that Telangana issue had three or four options, he said creation of Telangana State with Hyderabad as its capital is the only option for which the TRS would extend its support. He demanded the Central government to initiate constitutional process for creation of separate Telangana State and to introduce Telangana bill in the coming session of Parliament. The TRS leader came down heavily on YSR Congress Party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy for his proposal to conduct massive public meeting in support of united AP in Hyderabad.

Mr Harish Rao warned that they would obstruct the proposed meeting at any cost. The TRS MLA stated that YSRCP would not have any future in the Telangana region as it was working against the sentiments and aspirations of the people in the region. Large number of students, who were present at the meeting, raised ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans. MLAs Koppula Eswar and L Ramana, MLC Naradasu Lakshmanrao, former Minister Jeevan Reddy and other leaders attended the meeting.
