Rich tributes paid to Sardar Patel on Ektha Divas
The trio administered national unity pledge to the employees at programmes held in the District collectorates on the occasion of birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. They also garlanded the portrait of Vallabhbhai Patel and paid tributes to the late leader.
Nalgonda: Remembering Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of Ektha Divas, Yadadri-Bhongir District Collector Anitha Ramachandran, Suryapet Collector Surendra Mohan and Nalgonda Joint Collector Satyanarayana Reddy stated that the Iron Man of India had played a crucial role in the integration of 565 princely States to make an Indian federation. He made huge efforts to restore the peace all across the nation, they said.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collectors said the aim of introducing this event was to pay tribute to the great man on his birth anniversary by remembering his extraordinary works for the country. He really worked hard in keeping India united.
They reminded that it is a practice to take pledge on Ektha Divas dedicating once lives to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among fellow countrymen. Officers and employees of different departments also attended the programmes in respective Collectorates.
