Suryapet/Khammam: Addressing a party activists’ meeting in Matampalli mandal on Tuesday, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy blasted the TRS government, listing its ‘failures’ on various fronts, even while expressing confidence that the Congress would regain power in 2019.

In his strongly-worded attack against the government, Uttam listed the failures such as lack of remunerative price for farmers, eglecting two-bedroom houses for poor, job to a member of each family across the State’ etc. He alleged KCR of giving top posts to four of his family members.

“He himself has moved into a palatial house-cum-office spread over nine acres and costing Rs 50 crore and leading a luxurious life. A bathroom there costs Rs 1 crore,” Reddy quipped.

Meanwhile in Khammam, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday met farmers and students and enquired about their hardships as part of his Palle Nidra programme in Wyra mandal.

During his rally, Bhatti tried to expose the failures and anti-people policies of the TRS government. He criticised the government for ignoring the plight of chilli farmers who suffered losses due to spurious seeds.
