Khammam: District secretary of the ‘Tangjime Insaaf’ Mohammad Salaam demanded the government here on Thursday to implement 12 per cent reservation to Muslim Minorities immediately and fulfil the given promise. In this regard, a district committee meeting was held here at the Insaaf Office in Khammam on Thursday under the leadership of the S K Saida.
Speaking in the meeting, Md Salaam alleged that TRS government formed separate committee for Minorities only for the name sake. “Till now it did not fulfil any promise, including the 12 per cent reservations to the Muslim Minorities,” he said.
Accusing RSS, Bhajrang Dal and BJP of encouraging communal violence, he alleged that these were not allowing Muslims to publicise festivals like Milad-un- Nabi, which is celebrated worldwide.
He further threatened massive protests if government fails to implement 12 per cent reservation. Leaders of Tangjime Insaaf, Md Rehaman, Masiuddin, S K Yakub, Razak Pasha, S K Gouse Miya, Jilani and advisory member Yanali Sambashiva Reddy were present along with others.
