Mathematics Day celebrated

On Thursday, Ramaiah attended as chief guest to the meeting organised to celebrate birth anniversary of Ramanujan by the Department of Mathematics of NG College in Nalgonda.
Nalgonda: Former MLC Chukka Ramaiah lauded the services rendered by great mathematician late Srinivasa Ramanujan to the field of mathematics.
On Thursday, Ramaiah attended as chief guest to the meeting organised to celebrate birth anniversary of Ramanujan by the Department of Mathematics of NG College in Nalgonda.
Addressing the students, Ramaiah advised the students to scale great heights in their lives by taking Ramanujan as a source of inspiration, who discovered number theory.
On the occasion, Ramaiah distributed Rs 5,000 cash prises to toppers of Maths group students. College vice-principal Srinivas Reddy, Yedu Kondal, Ravi Kumar, Niraja, Venkata Krishna, staff and students took part.
