Kothagudem: A fire accident took place because of short circuit and oil leakage from a transformer at sixth plant in Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) on Tuesday. Fire tenders brought the flames under control.
While the issue has been rectified, the loss was pegged at Rs 30 lakh. Chairman and Managing Director of the station Prabhakar enquired about the incident and ordered Director Satchidananda to prepare a complete report on the mishap.
