Rich tributes paid to Konda Laxman Bapuji
Everyone must strive hard for fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji, advised Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gadepalli Kavitha. The 102nd birth anniversary of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji were celebrated on a grand note at the Technical Training and Development Centre (TTDC), in Khammam on Wednesday.
Khammam: Everyone must strive hard for fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji, advised Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gadepalli Kavitha. The 102nd birth anniversary of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji were celebrated on a grand note at the Technical Training and Development Centre (TTDC), in Khammam on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said Konda Laxman Bapuji played a key role in the Telangana movement and strived for the uplift of weaker. MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar, speaking on the occasion, said that Konda Laxman Bapuji had become an inspiration for the leaders in the later stages who lead the Telangana movement.
Celebrating Bapuji’s birth anniversary officially across the State after achieving separate Telangana was a good sign, he said. “Everyone must strive to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of Konda Laxman Bapuji and must participate in developmental activities to create the Bangaru Telangana,” he urged.
Necessary steps would be taken for establishing the great freedom fighter’s statue in the Khammam city, assured the MLA. City Mayor Dr Papa Lal, Agriculture Market Committee Chairman R J C Krishna and other officials were present.
