Lakaram Lake works to be completed by Dec-end
Legislator Puvvada Ajay Kumar has said that the works of Lakaram Lake and the tank bund which were going on at war foot would be completed by the end of this year.
Khammam: Legislator Puvvada Ajay Kumar has said that the works of Lakaram Lake and the tank bund which were going on at war foot would be completed by the end of this year.
The MLA participated in a programme organised by Fisheries department and released the fishlings into the Lakaram Lake here in Khammam on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the restoring and developmental works of Lakaram Lake and tank bund, which were taken up at a cost of Rs 22 crore, are going on war foot and would be completed by the end of this year. “Around 60 per cent of works are completed till date. By the end of December, the remaining works will be completed,” he assured.
City Mayor Dr Papa Lal, Deputy Mayor Murali Prasad, Additional Director of the Fisheries Department Varada Reddy and the local corporators were present along with others.
