District Collector Anita Ramachandran directed the officials and staff concerned to speed up digitising land survey details in order to distribute the pattadar passbooks to eligible farmers in stipulated time. On Tuesday, she visited the Jagruthi Degree College in Bhongir and examined the data digitalisation works.

On Tuesday, she visited the Jagruthi Degree College in Bhongir and examined the data digitalisation works.

Speaking on the occasion, she informed that all necessary arrangements and works were going with regard to distribution of digital passbooks to farmers under correction of lands programme. Passbooks would be issued only to them who have clear survey, bit and account numbers.

Stating that district had 2,44,885 accounts and so far, 1,03,689 account numbers were uploaded online, the Collector informed that digitisation work may get completed by Thursday. After random checking of records, she gave few advices to technical staff. Joint Collector Ravi Naik accompanied the Collector.
