Khammam: The Scheduled Caste Corporation Chairman and the Telangana Madiga Joint Action Committee (TSM-JAC), Pidamarthi Ravi here on Monday declared that if the BJP and Congress parties failed to take any initiative for introducing a bill for SC categorisation in the ensuing Parliament session, a ‘Mass Oath Taking Ceremony’ would be held from April with the people belonging to SC Community vowing not to vote for the BJP and the Congress parties.

Speaking to the media persons at the Press Club in here, the SC Corporation Chairman alleged that for the last four years the people belonging to SC community are staging dharnas in Delhi, apart from giving representations to the Central government, demanding SC categorisation into A, B, C and D. “But the government is not in a stage to hear our appeals and is behaving negligently towards people belonging to SC community.

The BJP party came to the power by making false promise to the people belonging to SC Community that it would categorise SC into A, B, C within 100 days after coming to the power, but reneged on its promise after coming to the power and deceived the people, he said.

If the government is not going to introduce the bill of SC categorisation in the ensuing Parliament session, then a perfect planning would be made to start several agitations in the State where the BJP and Congress parties are in power from April.

He urged the people of SC community along with representatives of various people’s organisation to make the ‘Chalo Delhi’ programme, scheduled to be held from March 20 to 22 in New Delhi a grand success by participating in it in large numbers.

The Telangana Madiga-JAC District president Chary Sriram, Velpula Maruli, Matangi Anil Kumar, Nemali Kishore Kumar, Dhuda Arjuna Rao and Cherukapalli Jaya Raj were present along with others.
