Bhadrachalam: The residents of Bhadrachalam are elated as the State government had allocated Rs 100 crore for the innovation works of Lord Rama temple here.

The TRS government, soon after coming to power, announced of developing the temples across the State. After that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and other cabinet ministers assured of developing the Bhadradri temple on the lines of Yadadri temple. The government first take up the development of Yadadri temple.

From then onwards, the residents and devotees have been waiting for the temple development. They waited four long years, expecting the promise from the CM of developing the temple, when he visits the temple every year to present silk clothes to Lord Rama on Sri Ramanavami.

During the present budget, the government allotting Rs 100 crores for the temple development has raised the spirits of the people. They are expecting the CM to lay foundation stone for the development works here on Sri Ramanavami day, i.e., March 26.

District Minister and Roads and Building Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao held a meeting with Seer Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and chief architect Anand Sai for the final plan of the temple development.

While releasing invitations and wall posters of Sri Ramanavami festival at Hyderabad recently, Tummala said that the Chief Minister may lay foundation stone for the temple development works when he visits the temple town during Sri Ramanavami.
