Marking the 87th death anniversary of India’s patriotic heroes Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, the Jayaprakash Narayana College of Engineering (JPNCE) organised a blood donation camp, where 52 students donated blood on the occasion. 

Mahbubnagar: Marking the 87th death anniversary of India’s patriotic heroes Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, the Jayaprakash Narayana College of Engineering (JPNCE) organised a blood donation camp, where 52 students donated blood on the occasion.

KS Ravi Kumar, Chairman of JPNCE, while taking part in the programme titled ‘Shaheed Divas’, recalled the great sacrifice of the young patriots. The Chairman called youth and students to take inspiration from these heroes and work hard to achieve their goals in life.

“Youth must come forward to sacrifice for the welfare and development of the society. Bhagat Singh was a great patriot and just at an age of 23, he had taken the task of fighting for the freedom of the country and fought the British. In the same way, the present day youth must be ready for sacrificing their lives for the welfare of the society,” said the Chairman.

Later, the Red Cross Society of Mahbubnagar organised a blood donation camp. Ravi Kumar and students donate the blood. The JPNCE chairman said donating blood was a novel deed. Lingam Goud Kulkarni, CEO and Principal of JPNCE, A Nataraj, District Red Corss Society Chariman, Dr Narasihmulu, Indian Red Cross Society, Dr Sandeep, Dr Brejesh, Heads of all departments and students took part in the programme.
