Khammam: A counselling session was held for 30 alleged rowdy-sheeters under limits of Kusumanchi police circle here at Command Control Centre (CCC) on Wednesday. On the instructions of Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal, the counseling session was held for the 30 rowdy-sheeters who hailed from Kusumanchi, Nelakondapalli and Thirumalayapalem mandals under the supervision of Circle Inspector (Task Force) Anjaneyulu here, the police said.

The Circle Inspector said that if any person indulged in anti-social activities in a bid to earn easy money twice, Preventive Detention Act would be invoked against them.Once a rowdy-sheet was opened against any person, the individual would face lot of problems socially, economically and mentally, he added.

If a rowdy-sheeter would not indulge in any case for longer period and is leading a normal life along with his family members without creating any problems to others, then a proposal would be sent to higher officials recommending that rowdy-sheet can be withdrawn against him.

The persons, who wre said to be rowdy-sheeters, promised that they would not indulge in anti-social activities. They said they were facing problems economically because of their wrong deeds. The Nelakondapalli Assistant Sub-inspector of Police Suman was present along with other police officials.
