Free medical camp to be held On every first staturday

Khammam: Two town secretary of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) Y Vikram here on Friday said a free medical camp would be organised on first Saturday of every month at Manchikanthi Bhavan here.
Medical Coordination Committee meeting, held at Bogipudi Vignana Kendram in here took a decision to this effect.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram said diagnosis at the right time would help patients, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, take treatment early and thus preventing complications.
For the last two months onwards, the free medical camp is being organised for patients suffering from hypertension and diabetes under the supervision of expert doctors on first Saturday of every month, he said.
The medicines available in the medical shops for treating the BP and sugar are costly. But here in the medical camp along with free health check-up medicines are given at a low cost, he added. He urged the people to utilise the opportunity.CPM party leaders Rama Rao, M Prasad, CH Subba Rao and V Yadagiri were present.
