Elaborate arrangements have been made for conducting the Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test (TG-CET), for admissions into 5th Class in various Gurukul Residential Schools in the State, according to Regional Coordinator Pullaiah here on Friday.

He also said examination centres have been established in all Social Welfare Residential Schools. About 17 examination centres in Khammam and seven in Bhadradri Kothagudem districts have been established. Additional examination centres have been set up at Nayabazar, Ricca Bazar and in Shantinagar Girls School in the city.

About 5,573 students are expected to appear for the entrance examination in Khammam district and about 3,059 students in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The examination will commence from morning 10.30 am. The Students should reach the examination centres one hour before examination schedueld, he added.

He said that the students will be provided with quality and high standard education in Gurukul Residential School in English Medium along with balanced and nutritious diet under the supervision of Secretary of ‘Telangana Social Welfare Residential Education Institutions Society’ (TSWREIS) Dr. R S Praveen Kumar.
