Central team inspects NIMS at Bibinagar
Joint Secretary of Union Ministry of Health Sunil Sharma along with Central officials here on Thursday inspected the NIMS buildings. The Central team visited the NIMS as part of the plan to upgrade it to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
​Bibinagar: Joint Secretary of Union Ministry of Health Sunil Sharma along with Central officials here on Thursday inspected the NIMS buildings. The Central team visited the NIMS as part of the plan to upgrade it to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Sunil Sharma told the media that he would submit a report to the Union government soon. After inspecting eight blocks in the building and open land at the rear side of the NIMS, the team members expressed their satisfaction over infrastructure available.
Later,the central team held a meeting with officials at NIIMS. District Collector Anitha Ramachandran, MP Bhoora Narsiah Goud explained to the Central officials about the facilities availableat the existing building.
Central team members, who includedAIIMS, New Delhi,Superintendent Dr DKSharma, Prime Minister Swasth Sahayog Director Sachin Mittal, Raebareli AIIMS Superintending Engineer GP Sri Vasthava, Central Family Welfare Department Architect Mukesh Bajpayee, State Medical and Health Department Principle Secretary Shantha Kumari and other officials were present.
