House burgled; thieves decamp with 23 tolas gold in Mahbubnagar

Mahbubnagar: Thieves decamped with 23.30 tolas of gold and 2 lakh in cash from a house near CV Raman High School in Devarkadra mandal on Friday.
Giving tough time for the police, the thieves in Devarkadra mandal are now resorting to broad day light robberies. According to police, the house which is situated in the busy street near New Bus Stand in was looted on Friday as the inmates of the house had gone for a function locking the house.
“The thieves broke open the door in the afternoon, while the house owners were away for a function. We have received a complaint that the thieves have decamped with 23.30 grams of gold and 2 lakh rupees from house owners. We booked a case against unknown persons and will trace out the thieves very soon,” said the police.
