Bhadrachalam: The festival of Varala Lakshmi puja (second Friday in Sravana masam) was celebrated at Lord Rama temple on Friday. As part of the programme, the temple authorities conducted a massive kunmkuma puja at the temple premises. Special abhishekam was conducted at Goddess Laxmi Ammavaru temple by the priests.
A large number of women devotees participated the programme and offered the special prayers to the deities. Since there was a huge crowd of devotees in the temple, the officials had arranged special queue for the Lord Rama darashan.
In-charge Executive Officer of the temple Pamela Sathpathy, Assistant Executive Officer Sravan Kumar and other staff members participated in the programme.
