Khammam: The police here on Saturday arrested Central Committee member of Communist Party of India (Maoist) Sudarsan alias Srinivas at Wyra. Sudarsan is accused in the attempt to assassinate the then Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the in the murder case the former home minister Alimineti Madhava Reddy. Sudarsan is also instrumental in the kidnapping of the then district Collector Malkangiri in Odisha. A reward of Rs. 20 lakh had been announced for his arrest. He was injured during his arrest and was admitted in a private hospital in Khammam.
