Kurnool: In spite of the gimmicks indulged in by the opposition parties, the Congress would return to power and Rahul Gandhi would become the prime minister, Kurnool district Congress committee president B Y Ramaiah said here on Monday. A Talking to newsmen at the Congress party office Ramaiah said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been implementing the unprecedented welfare programmes in the State which were implemented nowhere in the world. "Congress party has earned a place in the hearts of people," he said and added that the opposition parties have been criticizing the Congress party in a helpless condition.
He wondered as to what Chandrababu Naidu had achieved in his pada yatra. "While he was doing pada yatra, his party men were shifting their loyalties to other parties," he added.A Referring the YSR Congress party, Ramaiah said that the honorary president Y S Vijayamma was telling lies holding the Holy Bible. "YSR Congress leaders were visiting Jaganmohan Reddy in the jail as if they were going to a temple," he ridiculed.
