Kurnool: Members of Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samiti (RPS) and students of Rayalaseema Student Federation (RSF) took out a massive rally here on Tuesday protesting against the move to divide Rayalaseema to form Rayala Telangana.

The rally which started on RS Road culminated in a meeting at Raj Vihar Centre where the burnt down the effigies of former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy for keeping quiet over the move to divide Rayalaseema.

RPS joint action committee leader Sitaiah said that they would remain mute witnesses to the division of the Rayalaseema in the name of Rayala Telangana. He flayed the Rayalaseema leaders for not protecting the self-respect of Rayalasema and supporting Telangana leaders. He expressed the support of JAC to RPS president Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy.
