Common people join hands for united AP

Kurnool: In addition to the employees, teachers and other sections of the society who have been agitating for a united Andhra Pradesh, a number of other sections including various caste associations, housewives joined the stir on the 27th day on Monday. Private education institutions RR Public School and Kakatiya Public School have jointly orgnised a massive rally in the city which started from C Camp centre to the Raj Vihar Centre via the Collectorate. They have carried the effigy of KCR and burnt it down at the NTR circle.

They went around the city making music with drums and raising slogans for a united Andhra Pradesh and staged the protest demonstration at the NTR Circle. The doctors and nursing staff of the government general hospital here have organised cook and eat programme near the government hospital. The mass relay hunger strike launched by Samaikyandhra Rashtra Parirskahana Vedika entered the fourth day on Monday. They started collecting one lakh signatures in favour of the united state. The joint action committee of Commercial Taxes department has taken out a massive rally depicting the Union Ministers in shackles.

Advocates rally: Protesting against the attack by the advocates at the AP NGO Bhavan in Hyderabad, the members of the Kurnool Bar Association have taken out a massive rally from the Bar Association office to the Raj Vihar Centre. They asserted that Hyderabad was not Pakistan. They said that one could freely roam in Pakistan but not in Hyderabad. They held the Congress party responsible for the current state of affairs. The advocates regretted that the advocates who were supposed to protect judiciary have turned into rowdy elements making the democracy a farce.

A number of poultry farmers and chicken shop owners and workers have taken out a massive rally here on Monday demanding the withdrawal of the decision to divide the state. Badminton players in the city have taken out a rally in the city and demonstrated their protest by playing the badminton game at the NTR Circle. Former mayor Bangi Anantaiah donning the role of Srikrishna Devarayalu has stated that Srikrishna Devarayalu would turn in his grave if the state was divided. At Adoni, all private college students have taken out a massive rally. The teachers, employees and the municipal staff, electricity employees have organised massive rally on the 27th day. The students created patterns with Samaikyandhra slogans on the roads to demonstrate their protest. The whole town was reverberated with the slogans of Samaikyandhra.

Katasani resigns: In support of the fasting president of YSR Congress party, MLA Katasani Rami Reddy submitted resignation to the Assembly membership and launched indefinite fast here on Monday. He squarely held the Congress and TDP responsible for the division of the state. When asked whether he was joining the YSR Congress, he said that he was not joining any party. Meanwhile, a sizable number of flexis and banners appeared in Banaganapalli with the photographs of YSR Congress party leaders.
