Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Development Minister and Sub Committee member on Contract workers welfare Ganta Srinivasa Rao had said that his government will not remove the contract employees and also increased retirement of the outsourcing staff to 60 years.
He said that the committee has come to a conclusion that the proposal to regularise the services of the contract workers is not under consideration. However, the government will strictly adhere the Supreme Court judgement in providing pay scales to the contract workers.
Maternity leave for women will be increased to 6 months and all the issues will be discussed in the next cabinet meeting and take a final decision after seeking legal opinion, he added.
