A case was registered against TDP leader and Ibrahimpatnam candidate Sama Ranga Reddy for allegedly duping his kin of Rs 40 crore.
Lakshma Reddy alleged that Sama Ranga Reddy has forged his signature and employed so-called Vikram Reddy into his real estate company 13 years ago.
The victim also said that Ranga Reddy accorded Rs 40 crore worth four floors in an apartment at Madhapur to the former's daughter, son-in-law and another person without his consent.
The Nampally police have registered the case under relevant sections of IPC.
