The officials of Income Tax Department on Wednesday raided the farmhouse of TRS candidate Patnam Narendar Reddy kin Jagannadh Reddy in Kodangal and seized Rs 51 lakh.
It is learned that the cash was meant to distribute the voters during the election campaign. The IT officials along with the cash also seized a few receipts.
With the seized money, the total cash caught by the police touched Rs 104.4 crore. Of the seized cash, Rs 88 crore was in cash, Rs 7.5 crore was in gold, silver and Marijuana.
