Srikakulam: Both BJP and TDP governments at center and state are harassing common man, workers and employees charged CITU state president, Ch.Narasinga Rao. He attended for a preparatory meeting for success of proposed Bharath Bandh on 8 and 9 January next year by protesting anti people policies of both governments.

Speaking on the occasion Ch.Narasinga Rao said that both governments are diluting labour laws and acting pro-corporate and pro-industrialists and against workers, labour and employees.

He quoted Aurabindo Pharmaceutical Company management negligent attitude towards workers demands is a live example for it due to dilution of labour laws private companies are harassing its workers indiscriminately.

With the support of state government Aurabindo Pharmaceutical Company management has not been solving workers issues for the last one year he lamented. Demonetisation and GST both are ruining the systems and pushed common man into more trouble he explained.

CITU state vice president, Duppala Govinda Rao demanded minimum wage as Rs 18,000 and cancellation of contributory pension scheme (CPS).

He demanded the state government to take action against Aurabindo management for violation of labour laws and neglecting corporate social responsibility.

Against all these anti-people policies CITU is going to observe Bharath Band for two days on 8 and 9 January next year with support of all unions and opposition parties and associations he explained.
