The first phase of gram panchayat polls has been ended with the overall polling percentage recorded to 75 per cent at 12 pm
The first phase of gram panchayat polls has been ended with the overall polling percentage recorded to 75 per cent at 12 pm.
The polling has been held for 3,701 panchayats and 28,976 wards. Meanwhile, the candidate elected unanimously in 769 panchayats and 10,654 wards. The counting will begin at 2 pm and the results will be announced by evening.
