All the arrangements have been made for the second phase of Gram Panchayat elections in the state which is to be held tomorrow. Around 10,668 candidates are trying their luck for 3,342 sarpanch posts for which elections are being held.
In the second phase, nominations have been received from 4,137 panchayats of which 788 sarpanch posts have been made unanimous. The ballot papers which were used in the first phase will be used and the same polling staff will accord services in the second phase.
However, liquor flow in the polling areas has also been restricted.
