BELAGAVI: Following the footsteps of chairman of Belgaum Foundry Cluster - Ram Bhandare, several social, industrial and professional organizations hailing from Belagavi have launched a campaign with the tagline ‘If divided VTU, divide the state’.

On Monday, at the first preparatory meeting at Foundry Cluster Hall, the Cluster has decided to contact ministers, MLAs and MLCs of North Karnataka shortly to seek their support. The cluster also decided to call for a 'Belagavi Bandh' seeking the support of engineering college students and all others. Representatives of various colleges and different forums will meet today. Additionally, A contingent of representatives of various forums belonging to North Karnataka will meet governor Vajubhai Vala and CM HD Kumaraswamy within four days.
