Caste certificates at the time of birth only: CM
In a passing reference during the debate on VoteonAccount Budget 201920 on the floor of the House, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said that the municipal authorities would be directed to issue caste certificates at the time of birth only
Hyderabad: In a passing reference during the debate on Vote-on-Account Budget - 2019-20 on the floor of the House, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao said that the municipal authorities would be directed to issue caste certificates at the time of birth only. Since the caste remains unchanged, its certificates should be issued at the time of birth only.
Similarly, the Chief Minister found fault on the issue of Income Certificate and said this would be simplified. He also objected to banks keeping the Patta Passbooks as collateral to give farm loans. He said that the bankers could complete other formalities without asking for Patta Passbook. He said that these are some of the issues which have to be rectified and assured that this will be done in this year itself.
