Kadapa: Karnool range I.G D Nagendra Kumar has warned of stringent action initiatiating against those who were having unlicenced weapons with them during the elections. The karnool range I.G who was in kadapa to witness in the weapons Mass destruction program addressed media persons hear on Friday.
The karnool range I.G said that the police administration has already identified sensitive, hyper sensitive, faction villages in the district where unlicenced weapons suspected to be with some sections in those villages.
The police official urged them to handed over the unlicenced weapons volunterly to the police to avoid initiate action against them.
While recalling that police administration has seezed as many as 1,219 various old model outdated weapons like S B B L , S B M L ,Sharp Guns, Revolvers, Rifles , 27kinds of D B B L model weapons since 1987 to 2009.
However the police official disclosed that in olden days when the faction is rampant in some parts of kadapa district police administration has seized these kind of weapons some sections of people.
He said these weapons should be destructed, later buried in the presence of revenue authorities. He said that police administration is going to organize awareness camps in the villages along with revenue authorities in view of performing ensuing elections peace and fair manner.
