A retro-themed evening with live music was organized on 19th November, 2016 at DLF Gardencity in Gurgaon. The event was held at DLF Gardencity Sports Complex, Sector 91, Gurgaon. Dressed up in 1970’s costumes, residents of all age groups turned up in large numbers to participate in the ‘Rock & Roll Evening’. Mr. A and Mrs. B were adjudged the best dressed couple and conferred an award for winning the title.
The professional troupe, which had been especially invited for the program,enthralled everybody with their scintillating performances. With peppy music playing in the background, DLF Gardencity residents danced the night away.
Keeping in mind people’s fascination for taking selfies these days, a booth was set up wherein residents got the opportunity to click photographs in different poses and expressions.
A dedicated zone had been created for the children with intriguing activities that kept them engrossed throughout the evening.
Gastronomical patrons had a fingerlicious time feasting upon the array of delicacies that was offered at the food stalls.
Mr. Deepak Aggarwal a resident of DLF Gardencity said,” We are happy that a retro evening was organized at DLF Gardencity. The concept was very interesting and it was great fun to dress up in attire of the bygone era. Scrumptious food, live music and dance performances made the evening joyful as well as exceptionally memorable”.

We are extremely delighted that the Rock & Roll evening received an overwhelming response from the residents. The program allowed them to spend time with their families and also interact with each other”.
